defining the objectives of the event, identify the logistical and project requirements or scoping and lastly drafting of the project plan.

stages:

1. planing stage will include research and measurement evaluations against objectives as well as the strategic marketing, promotional and business elements
2. client analysis taking into account creative conceptualization, site surveys, risk management surveys, inventory preparation, procurement needs, health and safety planning, emergency services, major incident planning, disaster management and overall event plan
3. project management plan inclusive of a critical path or PERT chart for final event delivery. This plan forms the basis of operations for all resources and is target and deliverable driven supplemented by a contingency plan
